1920's Black Chiffon Metallic Trimmed Flapper Dress
Designed in the 20's, this incredible flapper dress is done in a black chiffon with a metallic trim of sequence and beading (bugle and cylinders). The sleeveless bodice is done in the typical style of the era, with a deep cross v-cut neck embellished with a band of metallic trim, which works it's way around to the semi scooped back. A double layer of a sheer black netting insert fills in the deep v-cut of the front, further enhancing the flapper style. The drop waist features 3 bands of the metallic trim and 1 band finishes the hemline of the gathered skirt. We paired this dress with a pale pink slip (not included) just to show versatility of wear. The dress does not include a slip, but one is recommended. The double layered net insert has a few minor inclusions, which is expected due to age. We recommend wearing a black slip underneath this dress to reduce the visibility of these inclusions. The netting can be replaced if so desired. Some of the beading and sequence are either coming loose or are missing, but can be replaced.
