1940's Brown Beaded Blazer

A Polly Parker Original from the 40's, this Brown Beaded Blazer was Union Made, finished by hand and sold in Jeans of Raleigh.  The blazer is made of a wool blend has a small shawl collar, a well-defined shoulder and is double breasted with a peplum hip. It is pieced and darted and has symmetrical gathers in front waist for a feminine, blousey fit.   It is fully lined with a copper synthetic blend and design elements include geometric fleur-de-lis copper beading all along the collar and hem, and ten self-fabric buttons. The back right side of the blazer is missing several beads, but does not diminish the pattern.
