1940's Cotton Eyelet Ruffle Collar Vintage Wedding Gown

Designed in the 40's, this seemingly hand crafted vintage wedding gown is done in a soft white cotton embroidered with an eyelet detail. The bodice features a scooped neckline with a ruffled collar, which wraps around to the back. The long smooth cotton skirt drapes from the Basque style waist and is cut asymmetrically at the hemline, giving the appearance of a train. The bottom of the skirt features a band in the same embroidered eyelet detail found on the bodice. The dress fastens in the back with concealed nylon zipper (replaced).
