1940's Gold Silk Chiffon & Sequin Vintage Ball Gown

Designed in the 40's, this lovely vintage ball gown is done in a single layer of beautiful gold silk chiffon with round pearlized sequins embellishments. Perfect for prom, this gown is sheer and should be paired with a slip (as shown). The bodice features a gathered and ruched draped neckline and small scooped back. Double spaghetti straps work their way up to the top of the shoulder. Round pearlized sequins adorns the bodice down to the hip. The self pleated skirt falls from the natural waist, flowing to the floor. A concealed metal zipper encloses the gown on the side. This gown does have some repairs previously done. There is also a bit of discoloration on the skirt, which may be remedied by a professional dry cleaner. Some of the sequins are missing, but can be replaced. Overall, this gown is wearable, but does need some TLC.
