1950's Sailor Vintage Day Dress

This stylish handmade sailor vintage day dress from the 50's is crafted of a very soft grey plaid wool. The dress has a false button front with two large black buttons, as well as matching buttons on the front pockets. The dress has a large knocked sailor style collar with a black silk taffeta bow, three quarter sleeves, and pleating on the waist that runs into the pockets in classic style of the era. The dress fastens up the back with a concealed metal zipper. There is slight wear under the arms.
