1940's Silk Crepe and Lace Vintage Wedding Gown

Designed in the 40's, this dreamy vintage wedding gown is truly indicative of the era. The gown is done in a soft white silk crepe with lace insertions over a taffeta lining. The bodice features a v-cut neckline with a intricate lace insertion, which works its way to the front of the semi-capped sleeve. The skirt falls from the natural waist and features vertical lace insertions, which begin just below the hip. The gown encloses on the side with a concealed metal zipper. A tiny inclusion can be seen on the left lace panel of the skirt toward the bottom. Another inclusion can be seen in the crepe on the skirt toward the bottom in the back. There is also a slight tear at the front right armhole near the seam and three small other tears at the left armhole near the zipper. All of these issues can easily be remedied by a professional seamstress.
