Nude silk chiffon draped over taupe satin makes this wonderfully constructed dress, both unique and sexy. The fully boned bodice is a faux halter style and is ornamented with pin tucked chiffon. An empire waist is formed by a self fabric band, from which flows a slightly gathered skirt. The bodice straps drape over the shoulders in beautifully sheer gathers, which attach at the waist band creating a backless effect. Separate drapes of silk pieces flow from the back. This dress has the hallmarks of excellent quality dressmaking including a build in internal waist band and bra cups. This amazing dress fastens up the back with a concealed metal zipper and hook and eyes. The inside bodice has been altered by a previous owner, but the dress has no other noticeable flaws.
