Custom made! This 50's sun dress is made of a soft cotton voile with a substantial cotton lining in the skirt. Mocha brown polka dots on a white background make this dress fresh and versatile. The bodice features a straight neckline and two long straps that can be worn in a variety of ways (halter or strapless). The straps are sewn to the dress by hand (for ease of removal) and feature bow detailing at the back for an added bit of whimsy. The full skirt falls gracefully from the natural waist and is gathered at the top. We have paired it with a belt and an extra petticoat to maximize shape and fullness. One petticoat is already included and we recommend a great ribbon sash to complete the look. The dress fastens in the back with a concealed metal zipper and hook n'eye enclosure. There is a 6" hemline, which is perfect to make this into a tea length dress if so desired. This dress shows normal wear, as expected. However, there are no noted flaws.
