1950's Cotton Garden Floral Vintage Day Dress

Designed in the 50's, this wonderful vintage day dress is done in a 100% Cotton with a sweet garden floral print done in varying shades of green, pink and purple against a white background. The dress is fully lined with cotton in the bodice and paper in the skirt. The bodice features a square neckline, slight v-cut, dropped back and semi capped puffed sleeves. A self fabric tie, finished at the ends with one pink fringe and one green fringe, can be seen at the top back for added interest. The full gathered skirt falls from the semi drop waist and flows down to almost tea-length. We have added a petticoat (not included) to show fullness. A concealed metal zipper encloses the dress in the back. This would be a fabulous dress for a curvaceous woman and can be worn both day and evening. The cotton lining needs to be re-sewn on the left side of the bodice.
