1950's "Peggy Sue Got Married" Tiered Vintage Wedding Gown

Straight from the 50's, Peggy Sue might have gotten married in this unbelievable soft white vintage wedding gown, which offers tons of detail paired with fine craftsmanship. Made of soft to the touch tulle over a silk satin lining, the strapless bodice is boned and features a sweetheart neckline with lovely ruching running down the center to create almost a heart shaped design which ends at the bateau waistline. On the sides of the bodice, which outline the heart shape, there is a delicate layer of lace adorned with pearlized sequins. This detail continues around the back of the dress. The tulle skirt falls from the bateau waist and forms three tiered layers, which flow gracefully over a straight layer of tulle and an additional layer of silk satin lining. The dress fastens up the back with a concealed metal zipper and hook n'eye enclosure. There is a tiny bit of rust has come through lining on the inside of the bodice from the bones. There are a few stitches that have pulled from the bateau waistline. There are signs of natural discoloration, which is to be expected and could likely be remedied by a professional dry cleaner.
