This dramatic formal cape from the 50's is elegant and practical; perfect for an evening out or special occasion.  One side is made from soft, silk velvet in a deep midnight black, while the other is a ruby red wool crepe.  Both sides feature a hood and arm slits, and the cape had built in shoulder pads for shape.  The black side fastens with a black leather button, and the red side with a self-fabric covered button. This  wonderfully constructed and unforgettable garment fits all sizes. The cape shows normal wear, as expected.  However, there are no noted flaws.
