This rich, ruby red satin dress has a classic 50's shelf style bodice.  Gathered satin drapes 

across the bodice and go over the shoulders to form gathered sleeves which form a v-neck front high neck back.  The bodice forms a lower-V in the front and back of the dress.  The full, loosely gathered skirt flows around the body and has a bubble hem reinforced with elastic for easy movement.  The skit is also reinforced with matching net to retain the shape and the dress fastens up the back with a concealed metal zipper.  This handmade dress has one small spot of wear on the center front hem, about the size of pin head, on the right side of where the skirt meets the bodice, which is hardly noticeable.
