1960's -1970's Hawaiian Inspired One Shoulder Vintage Gown

This Hawaiian inspired one shoulder vintage gown was designed in the late 60's or early 70's by Dorothy Bullitt and was made in USA. This gown combines vintage style with a modern flair. Made of silk and lined with organza, the gown features a large tropical flower motif in turquoise and black. Design elements include a single short sleeve over the left shoulder, a gathered, asymmetrical empire waist that flows into a large asymmetrical placket that falls over the skirt, and a boned bodice inside. The dress fastens up the left side with a 16" zipper. The a-line skirt falls to the floor with a 19" on the left side. There are three very small stains on the left hem.
