Designed in the 60's, this adorable dress has endless possibilities. The dress is a sheath style made of creamy white silk crepe, lined with cream silk and adorned with crystal and white teardrop beading. The delicate flowing sleeves are made of sheer chiffon and finish at the cuff with silk chiffon covered snaps. The high scooped neckline is trimmed with an additional band of silk crepe, which curves around the back of the neck. Another band falls from the mid-neckline to the base of the dress. The dress can be worn short or long. We have shown it as a mini dress with a sassy satin ribbon (included), by basting 9.5" of the skirt to create this effect. When skirt is let down, the dress adds an additional 6" of beading and then is finished in silk crepe for another 3.5 inches to the hemline. The dress encloses in the back with a concealed metal zipper and hook n'eye enclosure. The inner-lining shows a repair near the neck, but cannot be detected from the outside.
