1980's Victor Costa for Bergdorf Goodman Midnight Blue Cocktail

Designed in the 80's, by Victor Costa for Bergdorf Goodman, this classic cocktail dress is done in a midnight blue taffeta. The strapless bodice features a deep v-cut neckline and straight back. The bodice is boned and the dress is lined in a silk-blend of the same blue tone. This is a sheath dress done in counter-directional ruching, which gives the illusion of shape. The skirt is gathered at the side with self fabric bow. The bow is lined in fine sheer silk netting to hold it's shape. The dress fastens on the side with a concealed nylon zipper. This dress is in near mint condition, as there are no noted flaws.
