Designed in the 60’s, this beautiful vintage wedding gown is done in a vanilla toned organza on net with embroidered lace over a heavy acetate lining of the same tone. The bodice offers a high neckline done in scalloped lace embroidered net and embellished with tiny pearls. The bodice also offers lace embroidered sleeves finished with tony pearls and a rough scalloped lace trim. The embroidered and embellished lace also drapes over the bosom offering a shawl effect in both the front and back of the gown. The column style skirt falls from beneath the embellished lace overlay of the bodice and offers floral embroidered lace throughout. The skirt finishes at the floor with scalloped lace trim and a concealed metal zipper encloses the gown in the back along with hooks n’eyes. The skirt also features a sheer embroidered panel which falls from the base of the bodice and finishes at the floor. The panel attaches to two self bows at the back. This panel can easily be removed. There may be a few pearls loose or missing, however not noticeable when worn. We recommend a professional dry cleaning to remedy any smudging especially the collar. This gown can be easily made larger by taking the acetate lining out and adding another one that fits your measurements or by adding gussets. Please reinforce the hooks n'eyes.

Vintage garments should always be worn with care and consideration of their age. Please note that some garments may show signs of general wear.
Vintage garments were often tailored to fit an individual woman and evidence of seams and darts being taken in or out is not uncommon. For this reason, it is often possible to have a vintage garment altered to achieve a customized fit.
We will be happy to answer any questions about available seam allowances, darts, and hem allowances, along with recommendations on alterations before you purchase.
